Watch Lul Bob’s Documentary-Style Video For ‘Trapped Out’
The rising rapper is currently on tour with Maxo Kream.
Rising rapper Lul Bob dropped his latest single, “Trapped Out,” along with a music video for the electronic, trap-influenced track. The documentary-style video, directed by Timothy Rice, captures the South Carolina artist’s hectic lifestyle – from partying with friends and hitting the studio, to sitting down for interviews. Along the way, he worries what might befall him if his career falls through. “If rapping don’t work, I’m back to clutching my pole again,” he muses over an electrifying beat.
Lul Bob was first introduced to fans in 2020, with “The Real Definition of Fake,” his debut single, which has since amassed over one million streams. Last November, he followed with his 13-track mixtape, Soul Bleed.
Raw, reflective, and deeply cathartic, the record found Lul Bob working through the more painful moments in his life, while connecting with others who grappled with their own struggles. Soul Bleed also featured a variety of guests, including NoCap on the captivating duet, “No One Here,” and 3F Stunna on “Love So Fast.”
Over the next few months, fans in the US can catch Lul Bob on the road, as he supports fellow rapper Maxo Kream on his Big Persona Tour. The extensive run includes stops in Atlanta, New York City, Washington, D.C., before concluding in Houston on May 13.
